Recipient Criteria
Bad things happen to good people, and we’re here to help.
We provide a varied scope of assistance directly to individuals and families in our community who have been faced with a recent, unexpected hardship.
There is no request We take a look at all requests, no specific requirements needed.; if we are able to help, we will.
We want to make this process as easy as possible for our recipients, but there are a few requirements our recipients need to meet.
River Ellis Foundation Criteria
Live in HRVA 60-90 days
Experiencing hardship within 2-3 months, includes but is not limited to- medical, housing, food insecurity, etc
We do not work directly with the recipient. We work with the nominating partner.
Direct nomination criteria explicitly to nominating partners (school systems, hospitals, social workers, other non-profit partners, verifying your need).
