Join our River’s Runners team and fundraise while you train to complete the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 8k or Final Mile (see below for Final Mile info) during J&A’s Shamrock Marathon Weekend, March 14-16 2025. All athletes will be provided with their own fundraising page where you can share your story and accept donations. All training is done on your own, but we are here to cheer for you and encourage you throughout the training process and during the race!
ALL RUNNERS WILL RECEIVE:
– A Race T-Shirt
– FREE Race registration
– A personalized fundraising page to share with friends and family
– A spotlight on our social media pages (only if you want it!)
– Encouragement from our River’s Runners Cheer Station along the course!
– All Marathon, Half Marathon and 8k participants will pledge to raise $300.
– Final Mile participants will pledge to raise $100
Here’s what you do:
Go here to register for River’s Runners if you’re running the 8k, Half-Marathon or Full-Marathon.
You will receive a discount code in your confirmation email to register for your race of choice for FREE on the Shamrock website.
Once you receive your code, go to the Shamrock Marathon websiteand register for the race of your choice.

RIVER’S (LITTLE) RUNNERS
This is for pre-k/elementary aged children who would like to train for and participate in the Shamrock Final Mile on Saturday, March 15th 2025. For this race, kids will train (on their own or with their parent) to complete 1 mile while fundraising for the River’s Runners team! This is a fun way to teach kids the importance of physical activity AND giving back to their local community. We will have a pizza party in the weeks leading up to the race so that kids can get their t-shirts and receive recognition for all their hard work.
Additional info for the parents of our LITTLE RUNNERS!
Here’s what to do:
– Go here to register your child for the little River’s Runners team. You will receive a confirmation email and a link to setup your child fundraising page to share.
– You will receive a discount code in your confirmation email in order to register for the Final Mile for FREE on the Shamrock Marathon website.
– Once you receive a code, go to the Shamrock Marathon Website and register for the Final Mile. When registering your child for the Final Mile, please select “other” for school and write in “River’s Runners.” This way, all of our little runners will be put in the same corral.
– For parents who want to run with your child, you can register for a guardian bib during the Final Mile registration. *if you choose to run with your child, you and your child will be placed in the Guardian Corral and will not be put in the River’s Runners corral.
-Strollers are NOT permitted on the course.
