After celebrating their one year anniversary in 2013, a young husband experienced a spinal cord injury resulting in paraplegia. The primary caretaker since the injury occurred, his wife suffered a stroke in December 2019 that left her in the ICU. The husband suddenly required full-time care as his wife was no longer able to provide this care.
The River Ellis Foundation covered the cost of two months of full-time care for the husband to bridge the gap until other services could be put in place. We continue to send many positive thoughts and prayers for a sunrise for this family.
